Dermal Filler
Lip Filler
At Sophie Piper Aesthetics, we create bespoke lips that enhance your natural shape - whether you’re after a soft, subtle boost or a fuller, more defined pout. Every treatment is tailored to your facial anatomy, using premium products and precise techniques for results that feel like you.
We’ll talk through your goals, the product, and the technique beforehand so you feel fully informed. Most clients need 2–3ml over a few sessions (typically spaced 6 weeks apart) to build and maintain their desired result. A topical numbing cream and a built-in anaesthetic help keep you comfortable throughout.
Cheek Filler
Cheek filler is used to restore lost volume and subtly lift the mid-face. By placing filler high on the cheekbone, we can create the illusion of a more sculpted, heart-shaped face.
This treatment can also soften nose-to-mouth lines and reduce the appearance of under-eye hollowing. While it enhances facial contours, it’s not a weight loss tool - results depend on your natural anatomy and individual treatment plan.
Jawline & Chin Filler
Jaw filler enhances your natural jawline, helping create a more contoured, defined look while softening the appearance of sagging jowls. For those wanting a sculpted result, at least 3ml is typically required due to the surface area.
Chin filler adds balance, contour, and the illusion of a more defined jaw - a great option for improving the profile and reducing the look of a double chin. A minimum of 1ml is usually needed here.
Please note: Not suitable for those with strong masseter muscles or excess fatty tissue in the area, as this treatment is not a weight-loss solution.
Facial Fillers
As we age, our skin loses collagen and elasticity, while natural fat pads shift and bone structure changes - leading to volume loss, fine lines, and sagging.
Dermal fillers made from hyaluronic acid - a substance naturally found in the body - help restore volume, smooth lines, and subtly enhance your features. Results are visible instantly and typically last 6–12 months depending on the area treated.
Treatment is always tailored to your anatomy and goals, with a personalised plan for natural-looking, refreshed results.
Non-Surigical Rhinoplasty
This advanced treatment uses dermal filler to straighten the nose from the side, refine the profile, and even lift the tip for a subtle ‘pixie tip’ effect. It’s a great alternative to surgery, with results lasting up to 18 months for some clients.
As this area carries more risk, we use a careful, minimal approach. A complimentary review is included after two weeks to assess results and top up if needed - all within your original treatment price.
Tear Trough Filler
As we age, volume loss under the eyes can lead to hollowing and dark circles. Tear trough filler helps restore lost volume, leaving you with a fresher, more rested appearance.
This is a highly specialised area, and at Sophie Piper Aesthetics we use Teosyal Redensity II - a filler specifically designed for under-eye treatment.
Not everyone is suitable for this procedure, so a full assessment is carried out beforehand. If filler isn’t right for you, we may recommend alternatives such as Polynucleotides, PRF/PRP, or Light Eyes Ultra.

-
What is dermal filler?Filler is made of Hyaluronic Acid, a water loving molecule that binds up to 400 x its weight in water. It works like a sponge and fills up with water upon injection filling out fine lines/wrinkles and plumping lips.
-
Which areas can be treated with dermal fillers?Vertical lip lines ( smokers wrinkles), Cheeks, Jawline, Chin, Nose, Marionette Lines (Jowls), Nasolabial folds (smile lines), Lips, Tear Troughs (Eye bags).
-
Is there anything I can do to prepare before the procedure? You can take arnica tablets for a week before hand to help with any bruising. Do not drink ANY alcohol for 24 hours before your treatment.
-
Will there be swelling? You may experience redness, bruising or swelling in the injected area. These effects should not last longer than 2 weeks. Make up can be applied after 12 hours.
-
Will it hurt?A topical anaesthetic will be used for 10 minutes prior to the procedure to help minimise any initial discomfort. We only use premium products here at Sophie Piper Aesthetics, therefore the brands we use contain lidocaine within the product. Meaning that your lips are also being numbed whilst they are being injected. Where possible a cannula is used for treatments meaning it is less painful as it is only used to pierce the skin once and then a blunt device is inserted into one entry point from which the entire treatment is carried out. This technique is proven to cause less bruising due to no sharp needles and therefore less trauma resulting in less down time.
-
How long does dermal filler last?Every individual is different, and what may give an immediate result on one client may take two or three sessions to achieve on another. This can also be said that, what may last 1 year on one client may last less than 12 weeks on another. This is due to several factors including lifestyle, skin type, metabolism etc and therefore it is not an exact science. Filler does however take time to build up, regardless of how natural you want it, therefore bare in mind that you will need to be patient and expect to visit frequently for top ups over the first year to build a base. This will help ensure your treatment area lasts longer and once that base is in place -should need less maintenance in the future.
-
Can it be removed if I don't like it?In most cases filler can be dissolved and reversed by hyaluronidase, this is a product which is administered via small injections to break the product down. the Product will mostly be gone within 48 hours but will be completely gone after 2 weeks.
-
I don't know which treatment to book?If you’re torn between two treatments feel free to book either, not everyone knows what exactly they might want or need and we will work with clients on the day of their appointment working with their expectations and needs.
-
Can I fly after having dermal filler treatment? We advise all clients to wait a minimum of 48hrs before flying. Although it is rare, this is due to complications which can occur and in these circumstances you would need to return to the clinic for an emergency reversal protocol.

Managing Expectations
Please remember we can only enhance our natural features and that it is not possible to completely change them.

Any treatment should be looked at as an improvement rather than a cure. It is not always possible to create the desired look if your facial anatomy and genetics do not allow.

Please remember our faces are not symmetrical and sometimes no amount of filler can correct this – in some cases it may make it appear worse. Your nurse will best advise on the day of your treatment but as always there is no guarantee.
